Unlike home staging which seeks to expose space and neutrality and is designed to appeal to a wide purchasing community, Interior Redesign is all about helping you to achieve your goals and aspirations with a newly designed space that is uniquely yours, fulfilling your functional needs, providing comfort, and distinctly reflecting who you are. Our goal is simple….we want you to love your home!

We can work primarily with your belongings, repurposing and relocating pieces throughout the home that will elevate the home and recommend additional items that will complete the new design, providing a detailed shopping list of recommended purchases. We help you create a home you love by getting rid of the excess or mediocre.

Alternatively if you are looking for a complete transformation with all new furnishings and accessories Home Transitions can help define the vision, providing colour consultation, furniture placement, space planning, and guidance for procurement of new furniture, art, accessories, and décor.

Interior Redesign Consultation:

The process begins with an onsite consultation during which time we tour your home and explore your vision, learning what design elements excite you and which do not. We define the scope of the project, and determine functional needs, likes and dislikes, budget, and inclinations. Photos and measurements are gathered to assist in space planning.

Design Concept Proposal:

Home Transitions will then develop a proposal that includes the primary spaces’ configurations, identifying the types of pieces (furnishings and accessories) you should consider. You will then have the roadmap of individual items that will make up the design. At this point you may elect to explore retail providers to find the individual pieces and purchase at your leisure and timeframe independently.

Project Management:

Alternatively, you may prefer to engage the services of Home Transitions to guide you through the actual selection process, assisting, shortlisting, or perhaps choosing pieces on your behalf. The design fees are based on an hourly rate which includes time spent on administration, shopping on your behalf or accompanying you to select items, research, coordination of delivery of purchased selections, etc. (invoiced separately from purchases).

Generally we work on a retainer basis of approximately 50% of budget (most wholesale providers do not accept credit cards directly from the public).
